A Short Overview of My Design Career

I earned my BFA in graphic design from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. While still in school I signed up for an internship at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and upon my graduation was offered a full time position as a graphic artist. Concurrently, I started collaborating with U-M Center for Sustainable Systems (CSS) to redesign their identity package and assist them with a launch of a new annual lecture event. And that’s how my freelance career started.

CSS’s events, and consequently my artwork, have received such high exposure around town that I started receiving calls with more freelance opportunities. Also, my position at the museum brought in new relationships: two of the event committee members, dotmine group co-founders, were so impressed with my work at the museum, that they hired me to design covers for their planners.

Nowadays, I live and work in Los Angeles, seeking new creative challenges where I can explore new techniques and expand my skill set.
